10:31 pm	Exactly one month to my birthday So I have a birthday coming up on July 23, which is one month from today. I'm kind of sad because I am not at all where I thought I would be by this age, nor am I the person I had hoped to be. :( But, then again, it will be an excuse for ice cream cake, which, really, makes up for the whole philosophical not-yet-who-I-want-to-be problem. 9:37 pm	So all this stuff isn't so bad after all ... While cleaning out all the stuff in my apartment (see previous post), I found some good stuff: - My retainers (OK so not great, but I do need them ...) - Yoda & Darth Vader Pez dispensers -- c'mon, how cool is that? Yoda's still in his original packaging! Ebay here I come! - Name of a song I've been meaning to download forever, but could never remember the name of ("In the Meantime" by Spacehog) - All sorts of cards and letters reminding me how many really cool friends I have. :) - A Greenday CD that I've been looking for forever! 1:48 pm	Where on earth did I get so much stuff? I am getting ready to move to Berkeley, CA for graduate school (I'm going to Cal) and I cannot believe how much useless crap I have accumulated over the two years I've lived in this apartment. Honestly. I am never buying anything ever again. Someone out there better hold me to this. OK, so eventually I'll have to buy some stuff. But if I do, I'm not moving again for a long time. 10:03 pm	Do Movies Seem Better This Summer? 2004, for movies at least, did not seem like a good year to me. I'm not a LOTR fan and so (did a LOTR movie even come out in 2004? I think maybe one did ...), so I had nothing in 04 that I thought was particularly good. This summer seems a bit better on the movie front, though. Star Wars was finally good (hurrah!) and now Batman Begins is coming out in IMAX. And then I'm really interested in seeing that movie The Island. Looks interesting. Could also be lame. It's too early to tell. At any rate, I can't remember the last time there were actually three movies in the theatres or coming out soon that I actually wanted to see. So I think perhaps 2005 is a better movie-year. We'll see. (Comment on this)

9:33 pm	Sunscreen ... Does anyone remember that "Sunscreen" song that came ages ago? Right around the time we were graduating from high school? I heard it the other day and it made me cry. How sad and sort of sappy is that? But then again, it is a good song. And the sunscreen thing is good advice ... (Comment on this)
